Is EduNexus a SaaS or a self-hosted product?+
EduNexus is a self-hosted script. You purchase a license from our official portal at license-edunexus.epexlogics.com, download the full source code, and install it on your own server. You own everything — the data, the code, and the hosting.
What kind of schools can use EduNexus?+
EduNexus works for schools, academies, coaching centers, universities, and any educational institution — from a single-branch school to a network of campuses across multiple cities.
Does EduNexus support online/virtual schools?+
Yes. The Zoom virtual classroom integration and digital assignment submission make it fully capable of running hybrid or online-only institutions.
Installation & Technical
Do I need coding knowledge to install EduNexus?+
No. EduNexus ships with a 5-step browser-based web installer. You fill in your database credentials and admin details through a simple wizard — no terminal commands or .env editing required.
What server do I need?+
PHP 8.2+, MySQL 8.0+, and Apache or Nginx. Most shared hosting providers (cPanel-based) work perfectly. VPS or dedicated server recommended for larger deployments.
Can I install EduNexus on shared hosting?+
Yes, as long as your host supports PHP 8.2+ and allows you to set a custom document root (pointing to the public/ folder). Most cPanel hosts support this via "Addon Domains."
Is the full source code included?+
Yes. You receive the complete, unencrypted Laravel source code. You can modify it freely for your own use (redistribution is not permitted under the license).
Pricing & Licensing
What does the "lifetime" option mean?+
A one-time payment gives you permanent access to the software. No recurring charges. Updates are included per your plan tier for as long as the product exists.
Can I use one license for multiple domains?+
No. Each license is bound to a single domain. Purchase additional licenses for additional installations. Enterprise plan supports unlimited branches under one domain.
Can I transfer my license to a new domain?+
Yes. Go to Admin Panel → Settings → License → Request Domain Change. Transfers are approved within 24 hours and limited to 2 per year.
Do you offer refunds?+
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If the product does not work as described and our support team cannot resolve the issue, you are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us at support@epexlogics.com with your license key and issue details.
Is there a free trial?+
No free trial, but the full live demo at demo-edunexus.epexlogics.com gives you access to all 6 user roles with real data — no registration needed.
Features
How many students can EduNexus handle?+
Starter: 300 students, Professional: 2,000 students, Enterprise: unlimited. These are soft limits enforced by the license system.
Does it support multiple languages?+
EduNexus v1.0 ships with English. Multi-language (i18n) support is on the roadmap. The codebase uses Laravel's localization system, so community translations are possible.
Does EduNexus have a mobile app?+
Not in v1.0. The web interface is fully responsive and works on all mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is planned for a future release.
Can parents pay fees online?+
Yes. Stripe integration allows parents to pay fees online using credit/debit cards. Bank transfer recording is also available for manual payment tracking.
Is WhatsApp integration built-in?+
Yes. EduNexus includes a WhatsApp template notification system. You can send automated messages for fee reminders, results, announcements, and more.

How do I get support?+

How often are updates released?+
Starter and Professional plans receive monthly updates. Enterprise plans receive weekly updates. Updates are delivered directly via your license portal at license-edunexus.epexlogics.com.
What is included in updates?+
Bug fixes, security patches, performance improvements, and new features. Major version upgrades that require database migrations come with a migration guide.
